Hi I'm Patrick O’Regan
North Clare Sea Kayaking started in 2010, founded and run by Patrick O’Regan from Ennistymon, County Clare.
Growing up for a love of the outdoors, Patrick has been sea kayaking, surfing, mountain biking and hiking his entire life.
Patrick and the North Clare Sea kayaking team is one of Irelands leading sea kayaking tour companies and strives to be the best. Patrick has travelled the world exploring a wide variety of different coasts and cultures. Having many expedition paddles in both sea kayaks and canoes. His most favourite place to paddle is in Canada where he has done a seven day expedition around the northern part of Vancouver island. Also doing many expedition paddles in his canoe in Killarney provincial park and Algonquin provincial park in Ontario Canada. Along with many expedition paddles in Ireland. He was also lucky enough to live on an island in the middle of Lake Huron giving him the amazing opportunity to paddle the many waterways making up the Great Lakes.
Setting up sea kayaking business in Ireland was a life long dream for Patrick Ireland, his home, home to the world’s most diverse coastline (and the world’s longest defined coastal route – the Wild Atlantic Way). From soaring Cliffs of Moher to quiet, white sand beaches, our coastline is unique. Patrick’s experience and vast knowledge of local history and wild life is sure to provide all our clients with extraordinary memories to take home with them. Patrick was also an active member of the Irish coast guard Doolin unit. Based in Doolin county Clare and has many climbing and power boat skills achieved with his reading at the base in Doolin.
Patrick is a member of the International Sea Kayaking Guide Association and is committed to finishing his advance guide training.

North Clare sea kayaking has trained sea kayaking guides over the last thirteen years that have gone on to guide tours in locations such as Malta, Greece, Norway, Canada, Scotland England and Wales.
